Meet Emma
Emma is a Sports Dietitian, Feeding Therapist, and former elite athlete who specialises in helping pole dancers and aerialists fuel their bodies, overcome food challenges, and perform at their best.
Graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Nutrition and a Bachelor of Dietetics, Emma went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition.
She is an SDA-accredited Sports Dietitian, Credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian with ANZAED, and a SOS-trained Feeding Therapist with additional training in disability and inclusivity. Over her career Emma has worked in private practice with a wide range of athletes, before spending two years focused specifically on supporting neurodivergent individuals with ARFID and sensory eating challenges.

Emma’s approach to dietetics was shaped by her belief that food is never just about nutrients on a plate. Having seen how cookie-cutter meal plans failed to capture the complexity of real people, she built her practice on understanding the human interaction with food — from mental health and sensory preferences to the demands of high-performance sport.

Outside the clinic, Emma brings her lived experience as an athlete to her work. A former state swimmer, surf lifesaving competitor, and state-level netballer, she discovered pole dancing in 2017. By 2020 she was on the pole dance competition scene as both a soloist and doubles competitor. Alongside her athletic career, she has also navigated her own challenges with sensory eating, disordered eating, and the everyday juggle of training, work, and fuelling well — giving her deep compassion for the clients she supports.

Whether you’re preparing for competition, trying to find balance with food, or looking to eat with more confidence, Emma’s philosophy is simple: to provide practical, compassionate, and evidence-based guidance that helps you achieve what matters most to you.
