Meet Simone
Founder of The Pole Physio
Simone Muscat is the founder of The Pole Physio, an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist and APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist — and a passionate pole dancer herself.

Frustrated by the high rate of injury and the lack of accessible, evidence-based resources for the pole and aerial community, Simone launched The Pole Physio to close this gap and bring expert care to a growing global industry.

With over a decade of experience across private practice, emergency departments, and elite-level sport, Simone has travelled internationally as a physiotherapist for top-tier athletes in Hockey Australia and the AFL. Her academic background is equally impressive, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, dual Master’s degrees in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, plus strength and conditioning qualifications.

Simone now leads a team of passionate physiotherapists delivering online, individualised care for pole dancers and aerialists worldwide. Her unique expertise allows for accurate diagnosis and rehab tailored to the demands of pole, helping athletes of all levels recover, progress and perform at their best.
