Meet Julia

Julia is a full time APA Physiotherapist in Melbourne, Australia and proud member of the Pole Physio team. Her areas of clinical interest lie in Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health Physiotherapy.

Julia graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice before working at Western Health, where she has practiced as a musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, aged care and women's health physiotherapist across the continuum of patient care. Julia is currently working at the Royal Women's Hospital as a Women's Health Physiotherapist.

Julia started her pole dancing journey in 2013 with a love for dance but no idea how to body roll or lift her own body weight. She quickly became inspired by her fellow students and instructors to take all types of pole dancing classes and fell in love with the physical and mental strength she gained from the sport. Julia is currently working as a pole instructor at Pole Divas in addition to her roles as a women’s health physio and pole physio.

Julia joins the Pole Physio team to help spread her pole related knowledge in our patient favourite blogs.
